Picking the wrong dumpster size is how projects drag out. Too small and you're calling for a swap mid-job. Too big and you've paid for space you didn't fill. Here's a straight comparison of our 15-yard and 30-yard roll-offs. These two sizes cover almost every cleanout, remodel, and roofing tear-off in Cedar City and Southern Utah.

Most home cleanouts and single-room remodels fit a 15-yarder. Construction debris, full roof tear-offs, and whole-home renos almost always need a 30-yard.
When a 15-Yard Dumpster Is Enough
The 15-yard is compact and driveway-friendly: about 14 feet long, 7 feet wide, and 4 feet tall. Rear barn doors make walk-in loading easy. Reach for it when you're clearing volume, not running a full job site.
- Garage, attic, or basement cleanouts
- Single kitchen or bathroom remodel debris
- Yard waste, branches, and landscaping cleanup
- Rental turnovers and estate clear-outs (moderate volume)
- Small deck or flooring tear-outs

When You Need the 30-Yard Workhorse
At 22' × 8' × 6', the 30-yard holds roughly twice the volume. Six-foot sidewalls take bulky demo and roofing debris without constant packing. Contractors and big home projects lean on this size.
- Roofing tear-offs (shingles, underlayment, flashing)
- Construction and light demolition debris
- Whole-home cleanouts and large renovations
- Multi-room remodels running over several days
- Jobs where a mid-project swap would kill the schedule

Driveway and Placement Tips
We drop where you point: driveway, street (where allowed), or job site. For sensitive surfaces we use plywood under the wheels. Damage is rare; we're insured if something happens.
- 15-yard: Fits most residential driveways with normal clearance.
- 30-yard: Plan for about 22 feet of length plus truck approach room (~60 feet for the truck).
- Keep the path clear of cars, low branches, and overhead lines.
- Fill to the rim, not above. Overfilled bins can't be hauled safely.
