Roll-off dumpsters take a lot: construction debris, household junk, roofing tear-off, yard waste. They don't take everything. Load the wrong materials and you risk delayed pickup, extra fees, or a refused haul. Here's the clear list for G Roll-Offs rentals in Cedar City and Southern Utah.

You Can Toss

These materials are fair game in a standard 15-yard or 30-yard roll-off. Load them yourself (we rent the bin. We don't provide loading labor).

Allowed

  • Construction & demolition debris
  • Household junk & furniture
  • Yard waste, branches, dirt
  • Roofing shingles & tear-off
  • Drywall, lumber, flooring
  • Appliances (no refrigerants)

Not Allowed

  • Hazardous waste / chemicals
  • Paint, solvents, oil
  • Tires & batteries
  • Refrigerants (fridges, AC units)
  • Asbestos / contaminated material
  • Electronics (call for e-waste)

Why Some Stuff Is Banned

Landfills and transfer stations won't accept hazardous or regulated waste in a mixed roll-off load. Paint, oil, tires, batteries, and refrigerant-containing appliances need special handling. Asbestos and contaminated materials are a hard no. Call a certified abatement crew first.

Not sure about a specific item? Call or text (435) 263-1565 before you toss it. Easier than sorting it back out of a full bin.

Weight Limits and Overage

Flat-rate pricing includes disposal up to the tonnage on your quote, typically 2 tons (4,000 lbs) for 15-yard and 30-yard rentals on our pricing board. Go over and overage is $25 per ton, prorated at the landfill. No admin surcharges stacked on top.

Heavy Materials Tip

Dirt, concrete, brick, and dense debris hit weight limits fast. If your load is mostly heavy material, tell us when you book. We may recommend a different approach or a concrete washout for pour cleanup (concrete washout details).

Fill Line Rules

  • Fill to the rim, not above. Overfilled dumpsters can't be hauled safely.
  • Don't pack loose debris so high that it can blow out on the road.
  • Keep the rear doors clear enough to latch for transport.
